The story of the 1930s – 1940s Jackson Street jazz scene centered on entrepreneur and nightclub owner Russell “Noodles” Smith that transitions to the second act picking up on the 1960s Jackson Street music scene that is loosely based on guitarist Jimi Hendrix.
Both performances are FREE admission.

Syvilla Fort: Keep the Fire Burning
A tribute to the amazing career of Syvilla Fort who was a locally trained and accomplished dancer and instructor who performed with Katherine Dunham. Her students included Alvin Ailey, Eartha Kitt, James Dean, and Shirley MacLaine.
This will be a fabulous evening of performance and history.
