~Fashion Design Expo Fundraiser~
The Frances B. North Legacy Initiative honors Mrs. North’s unforgettable life, work service and sense of style. She was an incredible African American woman who made a significant impact on civil rights, desegregation, education and fashion design in the city of Seattle. The goal is to honor her with a public monument, a historical archive of her experiences, and an ongoing annual scholarship for a minority student pursuing fashion design and higher education.
Frances B. North Legacy Initiative is an official affiliate of Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle.
