The Black Heritage Society of Washington State (BHS) invites researchers, students, and community members to explore our archival collections, including photographs, documents, oral histories, and family legacy materials that reflect the rich history of Black Washingtonians.

Visits to the archive are by appointment only.
Appointments are typically available on Fridays from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
Ask about other weekday options if needed.
